Can anyone tell me if it is possible to buy "in-line" filters for the MINC, to filter gas coming from the gas cylinders. I have just started using MINCs and have always had "Coda" in line filters on my large co2 incubators. Even though we use medical grade gases, an in line filter can potentially protect embryos from impurities from the gas cylinder. Any thoughts or ideas?

The MINC can be used with in-line filters such as a Coda filter.  The braided stainless steel lined Teflon hose that comes with every MINC attaches to a gas sources using Swagelok connectors.  I would suggest that you contact your local Swagelok dealer or your local Cook Medical Representative for assistance on how to set this up, as you will need to make sure you have the right connectors based upon the Coda filter of your choice and the regulator you are using.  If you are not sure who to contact, please let me know where you are located and I will make sure to find you the assistance you need!
